Confederate Memorial - Moultrie

In 1906, the Moultrie United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter organized a fund-raising campaing to raise money for a monument. This 30-foot monument of Oglesby Marble with a 12-foot base was erected on Memorial Day in 1909 to the memory of Colquitt County's Confederate heroes and is located on the Courthouse Square.
