Visit the Conyers Depot located in historic Olde Town Conyers just off of Interstate 20 at Exit 80. Located in the depot is the Conyers Welcome Center with a staff eager to show you just why Conyers has so much to offer.
The yellow depot was once an important stop along the Georgia Railroad route from Augusta to Atlanta. General William T. Sherman marched his troops past this site on his infamous March to the Sea in 1864. Maintained and operated by the Rockdale County Historical Society, the 1891 historic depot, is used today for meetings, weddings and receptions.
