A group learns about the history of Hartwell's Depot Street as part of a guided tour.

This is a self-guided walking tour of historic downtown Hartwell, Georgia. The tour covers a little more than a mile and includes 32 homes, businesses, churches, and landmarks in our historic downtown. Stroll at your own pace and enjoy our downtown as you learn about the history of Hartwell.

Walking tour brochures are available at the Hart County Museum & Chamber of Commerce, located in the historic Teasley-Holland House (31 East Howell Street) or at the Hartwell Downtown Development Authority Office (111 West Franklin Street).
