The Rockdale County Historical Society and the Major General Joseph Wheeler Camp # 863 Sons of Confederate Veterans will present a Sesquicenntennial observance of Brigadier General Kenner D. Garrard's Raid in July 1864 on Conyers Station on Tuesday evening, July 22, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. at the Conyers Depot.

Featured speaker will be local Society Member, Ms. Rosanna Taylor, author of "The War Comes to Conyers Station".  Also SCV members will feature personal Civil War artifacts and memorabilia.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 P.M. followed by the evening's program beginning at  7:00 P.M.   For more information contact 770/602-2606.
