Seventeen years of research and writing has culminated in the only book ever published focusing on Georgia's lost antebellum plantations, townhouses and mansions. This new book features stories on 94 historic and architecturally imposing antebellum homes, most of which have long since been lost to all but the longest memories. As part of the Jack and Addie Averitt Lecture Series, the Bulloch County Historic Society invites you to join author Michael Kitchens as he presents a lecture on his findings followed by a book signing. A reception will be held before the presentation.
