Andersonville National Historic Site participates in the national Wreaths Across America program to remember and honor our military veterans. Sponsored wreaths will be laid on grave sites in national cemeteries across the country on the second Saturday of December. If you, your family, organization, or business is interested in sponsoring a 20-inch Frasier Fir wreath with a red velveteen bow, please contact your local florist to make arrangements.
Wreaths provided through the Wreaths Across America are placed on sponsored grave locations, with the bulk of them placed in older sections of the cemetery. In 2011, a portion of Section A received wreaths; in 2013 wreaths will be placed in Section B, depending on the number of wreaths received.
