Pure artistic talent lights up Downtown Dublin during live performances by vocalist Nadine Cheek and pianist Edward Eikner at Theatre Dublin.
Vocalist Nadine Cheek is a native of Georgia, and studied at Wesleyan College earning a Bachelor of Music before earning a Masters degree in Vocal Performance at the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati eventually returning to chair the Music Department at her alma mater, where she teaches applied voice and conducts the vocal ensembles. Ms. Cheek is heard frequently in concert and recital across the United States and in Europe.
Pianist Edward Eikner recently retired from teaching at Wesleyan where he was the Professor of Fine Arts. Edward Eikner, attended Baylor University on a Van Cliburn scholarship and completed graduate work at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and currently holds the Comer Professor of Fine Arts chair in piano at Wesleyan College.
