Country Store At Skylake

Welcome to the Skylake Country Store!  Take a step back in time as you walk in and see the magnificent old-fashioned marble soda fountain.   Pull up a barstool and enjoy a hand-dipped ice cream cone, milk shake or other home made treat.   Before you indulge your sweet tooth, be sure to try one of our fresh sliced, made-to-order sandwiches.  The store is now open late so you don't have to rush.

Meet your friends, or make new ones, and relax on the porch in a rocker and get to know one another.

The Country Store is a special place in the North Georgia mountains.  Antique lovers and history buffs will enjoy the treasures found in the vintage pharmacy at the store.  See the old 1890's pharmacy which was moved to Skylake from Concord, Georgia.  The ledgers, medicines and other artifacts provide visitors with a rare glimpse of a bygone era.

Kids of all ages will love enjoy our choo-choo train chugging along overhead of our antique Post Office.

Need a gift for an upcoming birthday party?  Want to go fishing but don't have all the gear?  We've got the gear and the poles too!  Stop by and pick 'em up.  Just remember we are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
