The Cherokee County Historical Society is pleased to announce the exhibit, Sunny Side Up: The Poultry Industry in Cherokee County, in the Cherokee County History Museum. The exhibit focuses on the history of an industry that continues to shape Cherokee County today from its humble beginnings as a backyard industry to its heyday when Cherokee County was the "Broiler Producing Capital of the World." This event is sponsored by Karen Smithwick, Chantal & Tommy Bagwell Foundation, Family of Ed Long, Chick-Fil-A, Aroundabout Local Media, Family Life Publications, Canton Tourism, and Cherokee Tribune.
