Enjoy the Cumberland Island Visitor's Center, gift shop and loggerhead turtle exhibit. The center opened in 2005 and is a replica of Miller's Dock, an old St. Marys landmark. The ferry to Cumberland Island National Seashore departs from the Visitor's Center.

    Our city's past comes alive with the Phase I launch of the St. Marys History Walk and a War of 1812 Commemoration event from 10 a.m. - Noon. The walk, once complete, will be a trail of interpretive signs depicting key events in St. Marys' evolution. It will be located immediately adjacent to Oak Grove Cemetery at the corner of St. Marys Street and Bartlett Street.
