This is a family-friendly festival with something of interest for all and free parking! In celebration of the pottery-making heritage of Crawford County, the annual Georgia JugFest and Old Knoxville Days, offers a look back to a time when folks learned life skills necessary to provide comfort to their existence. This Middle Georgia festival features the best of those long ago skills that evolved into talents for creating works-of-art that are still sought after today.

A celebration of Crawford County's history includes vintage pottery by potters whose legacies include beautiful works in the mud, in addition to contemporary artists using historic methods. Visit http://www.gajugfestival.com/ for more information.

See a quilt show May 20-21 at the Recycling Center located on Mathews St. in Roberta, Ga. See more than 100 displays of yesteryear's hand-quilting designs along with contemporary designs.

Events include a pottery auction, pottery exhibit, artists demonstrating historic skills, car show, lawnmower races, gospel concert on the Roberta Sqare, music and 5K fun run.
