In Doc's birthplace, Griffin, Georgia the Doc Holliday Museum houses unpublished photos, historic documents and books that give an accurate account of the life and times of Doc Holliday. Guided tours are available covering the points of interest relating to Doc Holliday (by appointment only please). You won't be disappointed! Most of our visitor spend many hours, some the whole day with us. We treat our guests with the true southern hospitality that goes back to the days of Doc Holliday, which was embedded in him as well. He was a true Southern Gentleman but circumstances led him out west where life was completely different than the one he had known growing up a a very influential and educated family in the south.     Mid Georgia Doc Holliday Festival

    This September, the Old West comes to downtown Griffin as community groups partner to remember one of Griffin's most famous sons. The inaugural Mid Georgia Doc Holliday Festival will be held on September 26-27, 2014. The free event is set to include musical performances, assorted food vendors, kid activities, a poker tournament and the Doc Holliday BBQ Championship.
