Heritage Station Museum
Heritage Station Museum serves the community of Douglas and Coffee County in a variety of ways. Primarily, it provides space for a local museum, satellite tourism information and the Whistle Stop Souvenir Shop.
Known once as the old G&F Railroad depot, one-third of the museum showcases the history of the railroad in Douglas. The remaining portion is dedicated to the history of Douglas and Coffee County. Displays offer many original G&F documents and furnishings, period clothing, Civil War memorabilia, early farming and early business artifacts, and more.
While touring the museum, drop in the Whistle Stop Souvenir Shop to purchase regional art, Georgia Made Georgia Grown locally made products and local souvenirs. The museum is operated by the Coffee County Historical Society. Guided tours are available by request. For more information, call 912-389-3461 or email [email protected].
