This huge rock, naturally shaped like a pulpit, was frequented by Reverend Lorenzo Dow, the famous "walking evangelist" preacher.
The Dow's Pulpit is located on Georgia Highway 11 just past the Monticello Crossroads Scenic Byway on the Jasper/Newton county line.
