The Edenfield House is a historic bed and breakfast located in beautiful Swainsboro. Named after H.C. Edenfield, local bank president and resident from 1927 to 1978, this gorgeous mansion was constructed in 1895 and was exhaustively restored in 1985 to exceed its original glory. The Edenfield House boasts nine spacious bedrooms, all with private bathrooms and individually controlled heat/air conditioning. There are numerous bedrooms on the first floor.
We take great pride in our local heritage, deep-rooted family values and small-town ideals. Historians and art enthusiasts will be thrilled by the 10 hand-painted murals adorning the foyer walls. Scenes of Mount Vernon, Savannah's seascape and the Pony Express are poised to greet and astonish all who enter this wonderful home. The Edenfield House is an easy drive to Augusta (60 miles) and Savannah (90 miles).
