Base your exploration of the Fitzgerald area among the landscaped meadows of Paulk Park Campground. Troll the ten acre lake for bream, bass, and catfish. Catch a breeze, cool drink, and sunset on the water from your porch rocker perch at the renovated Depot building. Hike, bird watch, or stage a brick pit barbecue with your traveling friends in the Depot (reservations required). Or just enjoy a full-sized shower and a chance to read a book while you catch up on laundry at the park facilities.
You'll be within easy biking distance of local shopping, eating, golf, and most of all, historic downtown Fitzgerald. There among the tree lined streetscape, you'll find restaurants, specialty shops, parks, the Blue & Gray Museum, Carnegie Art Gallery, Fire Engine Museum, Grand Theatre, and a truly eclectic array of turn-of-the-century architecture. Discover the allure of Fitzgerald that brought 2000 Union families to settle in 1896. Discover where America reunited.
Our 25 lakeside sites feature 30/50 amp pedestals with water and sewer connections plus a convenient dump station. Restroom, shower, and laundry facilities are located at the Depot. Please call ahead and we'll reserve a spot for you.
