Perched between the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, the Forrest Hills Mountain Resort & Conference Center is set within 140 acres of wilderness at the gateway to the Appalachian Trail and close to Dahlonega. Accommodations include one- and two-bedroom cabins with private covered porches, hot tubs and fireplaces, plus private group lodges ranging from eight to 16 rooms.
Meeting space is available for up to 200 people, and all-inclusive packages include meals and catered breaks. Team building and other group activities are available, including horse-drawn wagon rides, two regulation-sized sand volleyball courts, bonfire arena and sport court.
Getaway packages include dinners by candle light, Southern-style breakfasts and more. The restaurant features separate dining rooms for couples, groups and families.
The resort has three wedding ceremony locations (two garden settings and a chapel) and three reception halls. Wedding packages are available.
