Located just 28 miles from Atlanta, this 1,400-acre complex is the home to many equestrian and sporting events, not to mention year-round fairs, festivals, car shows, concerts and more. In 1996, during the Atlanta Centennial Olympic games the facility hosted all equestrian events, plus the first-ever mountain bike competition, and the final two events of the modern pentathlon.

    Meet the gentle alpacas as they compete for top prizes at the Royal Alpaca Challenge, November 1-2, 2014, at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers. Located in the Charles Walker Arena, the two-day event is free admission to the public. Learn about fiber arts with ongoing demonstrations in spinning, felting and other fiber arts.
