Georgia has 11 state Visitor Information Center located throughout Georgia. Nine of the centers are located on Interstate Highways as your enter Georgia, one center in Sylvania on U.S. Highway 301 and in Plains on U.S. Highway 280. The centers are open 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily for information services. Here you can pick up a Georgia Travel Guide, Golf Guide, Calendar of events and a multitude of brochures with informaiton on Georgia's attractions and loding. Restrooms are opened daily 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The centers are closed for these three holidays Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
