Glass Mountain Gallery & Studio was established in 1996 in Robertstown, one mile north of Helen. From this location, artists Phillip and Janine Shelby have produced hand-crafted fine art glass, which has been sold all over the world. For a limited time each year, the Shelbys open their studio and gallery to the public, giving glass blowing demonstrations and informative tours. Visit an actual working studio and learn about the process of creating glass.

The Shelbys' gallery is a renovated general store built in 1930. The solid oak construction is quite unusual and worth a look. We are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday Mondays beginning Memorial Day through the second weekend in December. Demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, we are part of the NE GA Arts Tour the first full weekend in June (10 a.m. - 5 p.m. F/S/S) and are always happy to open our gallery throughout the remainder of the year by appointment.
