This official trail starts in Marietta, goes through Atlanta, and ends in Jonesboro. Stops along the way include Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum, Margaret Mitchell House, Oakland Cemetery, Fulton County Public Library, and Road to Tara Museum. 
 
Civil War buffs will enjoy the Rhett Also Recommends sites, which include the Atlanta History Center, Atlanta Cyclorama Museum, Stately Oaks Plantation, and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield.
