Military museum of uniforms, weapons, accoutrements, maps, photos, Cobra Gunship Helicopter, M-47 Patton Tank and memorabilia of 6th Cavalry, 1861 - present day, but in particular 1919 - 1942 when 6th Cavalry was stationed at The Post in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Museum is located on the remains of The Post on Barnhardt Circle surrounded by officer's homes, parade ground, gym, PX, and stable listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
