Richland, GA 31825
This is a 5,600-acre wildlife management area open to hunting, camping, fishing, hiking and birding. The shooting range is available, and requires the Georgia Outdoor Recreation Pass or WMA Stamp. Upland habitats consist mostly of interspersed pine plantations, natural pine stands, and mixed pine/hardwood stands of varying ages. Upland habitats are bisected by numerous, small hardwood tributaries which drain into the Hannahatchee, Bussey, and Camp Creek basins. The terrain is generally hilly with numerous deep, forested gullies. Four-wheel drive is recommended for negotiating some roads, particularly in wet weather.
