The Historic Piedmont Scenic Byway follows beautiful Hwy 16 through Putnam and Hancock counties. There are many historic sites along this old Native American trading route, including Rock Eagle, the Uncle Remus Museum, Shoulderbone Mounds, Ogeechee Grist Mill and numerous historic houses and buildings.
