Hunters have access to 1000s of acres of hunting land. Primitive camping is available at designated campground.

Montgomery Lake, located on Horse Creek WMA, is home to the World Record Large Mouth Bass.  Montgomery Lake is an oxbow off the Ocmulgee River.  The bass was caught June 2, 1932 by George W. Perry with the bass weighing 22 pounds 4 ounces.  The lake can be visted by vehicle through the Horse Creek Wildlife Management Area.  There is no boat access to this area.
