William Horton built this home in 1743 after a Spainish attack destroyed his orginal home. It is one of the oldest tabby buildings in Georgia, and the site is listed on the national register of historc places. Through eight intrepretive panels, you can discover the site's other occupants including Native Americans, French privateers, and African Americans.
