Explore the Atlanta History Center, located on 33 acres in the heart of Buckhead. The History Center includes one of the Southeast's largest history museums; two historic houses including Swan House and Smith Family Farm; Centennial Olympic Games Museum; 22 acres of historic gardens and woodland trails; and Kenan Research Center including the Cherokee Garden Library. The History Center also includes the Margaret Mitchell House, located at our midtown campus. Throughout the year, enjoy lecture series with award-winning authors, summer camps, annual festivals such as Sheep to Shawl and much more.
