The Jefferson Davis Heritage Trail® is one of the Georgia Civil War Heritage Trails®. Collectively, they are "the official statewide Civil War Historic Driving Trails of Georgia," designated by Georgia's Governor and General Assembly in 2010.

Still hoping for an independent nation, the Confederate President Jefferson Davis rode this historic route south until captured by Federal cavalry, thus ending the Civil War, before being taken north on his way to prison. Drive the routes once used by Jefferson Davis and his pursuers along more than 350 miles of history.
