Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area

This area is ideal for hiking, biking and trail running. Adjacent to Lake Russell Recreation Area.  Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area is one of Georgia's many wildlife management areas. This particular WMA is known for it's stellar hiking and primitive camping. Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area is located in northern Georgia. The wildlife management area extends over 17,300 acres. Activities to partake in here include camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and hunting. A variety of hunting is available including deer, turkey, bear, small game and furbearers.
