Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area

Located just outside Macon's city limits, Lake Tobesofkee is a year-round recreation area covering nearly 1800 acres with 35 miles of shoreline. Three parks, each with a white sandy beach offer such activities as swimming, fishing, boating, camping, water skiing, sailing and picnicing. Two of the parks (Claystone & Arrowhead) offer campsites with modern conveniences. Claystone Park Located on Moseley Dixon Road. Open year-round, 6a.m. -10 p.m., Mon - Sat Spacious paved camping and RV sites, beach, boat ramps, picnic areas, playground, fishing, enclosed, climate controlled pavilion with beautiful view of the beach and lake available for group functions. Arrowhead Park is located on Columbus Road. Camping and RV sites, beach, boat ramps, playground, picnic areas, fishing. Sandy Beach Park is located on Moseley Dixon Road. Seasonal operation, Fri - Sun 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Beach, picnic area with covered picnic pavilions, playground, softball field, lighted tennis courts, fishing.
