Located on East Crogan Street, the Lawrenceville Visitors Center offers free parking, WiFi Internet access, Lawrenceville gift items, a pet-friendly atmosphere and rocking chairs for your relaxation.
Built circa 1893, the Lawrenceville Visitors Center is also designated as the Mayor Jule Oakes House. The historic home was dedicated by the City of Lawrenceville in memory of Jule Oakes who served as Mayor of Lawrenceville for two years (1949-1950) and lived in the home for many years. For visitors interested in history and architecture, the Lawrenceville Visitors Center features photographs of Mayor Jule Oakes and family and original coal burning fireplaces and woodwork.
The Lawrenceville Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Visitor Center may be closed or have adjusted hours on holidays.
