Lee and Gordon's Mills

Lee and Gordon's Mills is one of the oldest gristmills in the state, located approximately 1 mile from the Chickamauga Chattanooga National Military Park in the historic town of Chickamauga. The property has been placed on the National Register of Historical Places. It was used by both the Union and Confederate armies as a place to cross the Chickamauga River during the great Battle of Chickamauga.
The Mill is now home to TU Canoe and Kayak Rentals. Visit our website for contact info. TU Canoes is open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until dark. TU Canoes rents canoes and kayaks to float the Chickamauga Creek.
The Mill also hosts the Veterans of All Wars Museum, which contains information, artifacts and articles from all wars. It is usually open Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sundays 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Donations are encouraged.
The Mill has two banquet rooms that are available for events. Wedding and group packages are available.
