Lockerly Arboretum

Lockerly Arboretum is a private, non-profit educational enterprise designed to enhance the cultural and aesthetic life of the Milledgeville area. Comprising approximately fifty acres, it is located just above the fall line. The topography of the area is rolling and uneven, typical of the Georgia Piedmont. Lockerly is a horticultural laboratory rather than a showplace garden. There is no charge to visit the arboretum grounds which feature both walking and driving trails.
