Lookout Mountain Flight Park & Training Center

Lookout Mountain Flight Park is the largest and most popular full-time hang gliding school and resort in the United States.  Each year, the school teaches, certifies and solos five times as many pilots as ay other school.

Hang gliders launch from 1,340-foot McCarty's Bluff and the flight park includes a 110-acre mountain resort with camping and lodging conveniently located in it landing zone.

When the park is open, morning classes are offered (weather permitting) every day of the year (except Christmas Day).  Hang gliding lessons and tandem flights are given by certified instuctors.  There are also special events and clinics, and lesson package discounts for groups of five or more.  Lodging is available for members and persons using the flight park.
