Lyons Welcome Center

134 NW Broad Street
Lyons, GA 30436

Just a block off of US Highway 1, Lyons Welcome Center and Main Street Office is ideally located for travelers who want to stop for information on the attactions and events in Lyons, or those who just want to stop and visit along their journey. Lyons is home to the Tales from the Altamaha, an award-winning Georgia folk-life play performed annually in April about regional settlers along the Altamaha River - their lives, loves, losses and just plain ol' gossip!

Downtown Lyons is full of friendly folks, unique shopping and dining. Call to arrange for a tour of the Stanley Farms Vidalia Onion Factory and gift shop for an inside peek at how deliciously sweet Vidalias are brought from the field to your supper table. Group tours are always welcome, call for tour arrangement. Lyons Main Street also hosts The Real Squeal, an annual KCBS sanctioned BBQ festival in October featuring amateur and professional bbq teams, fireworks, arts/crafts, a mud run, Indian artifacts show, and kids creative art.
