The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center combines a rare treasure of the past with an active commitment to the future. The center is housed in a fine old Romanesque Revival red brick building, which was constructed in 1895 as one of the first graded public schools in the South. The original school bell still rings for the many visitors who enjoy the full schedule of exhibitions, performances and other programs throughout the year. The dream to establish a multi-dimensional regional cultural facility was realized in July 1976 when the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center opened its doors to the public.

    The Devon Allman Project is a six-piece band featuring two percussionists, John Lum and R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crow), bassist Justin Corgan, guitarist Jackson Stokes, and Hammond B3 player, Nicholas David. Duane Betts opens the set using his go-to guitar player, Johnny Stachela, and Devon's rhythm section. The Devon Allman Project follows with songs from Honeytribe, Royal Southern Brotherhood, and The Devon Allman Band. The night closes with Allman Brothers tunes and other classics.
