Magnolia Theater
Home to the Magnolia Music and Medicine Show, the Magnolia Theater opened in August 1942 and operated until 1990, when it was closed for safety reasons. Purchased and refurbished by the Dodge Arts Guild in 1997, the theater received a new roof, stage, seating, and light and audio system.
Focusing on family-friendly entertainment, the Magnolia Theater has a history rich in radio-inspired skits, musical innovation and community involvement. Located in the heart of historic downtown Eastman, the Magnolia Theater has hosted most of the South's great musical acts and comedic talents.
Featuring a full stage, audio and lighting capabilities, restroom facilities, lobby area, and seating for 288, the Magnolia Theater is available for rental to host community, private and special events. Open by appointment only.
