As seen in Coastal Living, Southern Living and Travel & Leisure Magazines, Mermaid Cottages is a vacation rental company specializing in Tybee Island's famed historic beach homes and quirky , cozy cottages. Many of the homes are pet-friendly  with fenced in yards and boast original details from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's.  Renovations and or restorations on many of the homes have been handled  by Tybee's own  preservationist and designer, Jane Coslick www.janecoslick.com

All our vacation homes are decorated and equipped for the utmost in casual coastal style. Rocking chair porches, marsh views, fenced yards for the pets and kids, and more...these homes are set up for what Tybee is best known for: the fine art of chilling out! 

 

We are very proud to manage the personal vacation homes of NY Times Best Seller Author, Mary Kay Andrews  ( Breeze Inn) and our very favorite Southern Cook, Paula Deen ( Y'all Come Inn).  Paula's home also comes with a pantry full of all her spices and sauces ( yours to use while you're here) some special welcome goodies  including a Paula Deen cook book personalized just for you and ....  guranteed reservations at The Lady and Sons Restaurant and Uncle Bubba's Oyster House. 

 

We are also very proud to sponsor two non profits very close to our heart- The Tybee Island Sea Turtle Project and our yearly sponsorship of a Service Dog puppy in training. www.guidedog.org . A portion of our rental income goes towards both projects.
