  • The Robert L. Scott, Jr. Story: God is my Co-Pilot Exhibit features General Scott who always followed his dreams, from learning to fly as a boy to walking the Great Wall of China at age 72. His determination and hard work inspire all of us.

      Museum of Aviation is the second largest museum in the United States Air Force and the fourth most visited museum in the Department of Defense.

      The Museum houses 85 historic U.S. Air Force aircraft, missiles, cockpits and award-winning exhibits. Some exhibits include the 14th Air Force Flying Tigers, the 483rd Bomb Group, the story of WWII Ace Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott, the Korean War, the Tuskegee Airmen, the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment and Air Invasion of Normandy.

      The Museum also has the SR-71 Blackbird, the fastest plane in the world.

Housed in the Museum of Aviation, The Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame honors distinguished men and women who made significant contributions to aviation in Georgia.

Guided tours are available for groups of 15 or more.

The Museum has the Jet Fuel Java and Aviation Gift Shop- where visitors can buy gifts and coffee!

Free and open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
