Museum of Aviation

One of the largest aviation museums in the Southeast with more than 90 aircraft and missiles, flight simulators and open cockpits. More than 200,000 square feet of exhibits include historical displays of military aircraft and campaigns. Four climate-controlled buildings house large exhibits, including 14th Air Force Flying Tigers, CBI "Hump Pilots," the 483rd B-17 BG, Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott "God Is My Co-Pilot," Tuskegee Airmen, D-Day and the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame. Aircraft include the P-40, P-51, P-80, B-25, B-29, B-52, B-1B, C-46, C-47, A-10, AC-130, F-100, F-104, F-4D MiG Killer, F-105, F-16 "Thunderbirds," MH-53 special ops, U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird.

Free admission. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Easter, Christmas, Christmas Eve after 1 p.m., Thanksgiving, New Year's Day and New Year's Eve after 1 p.m.

Victory Cafe and giftshop available. Cafe caters on-site events. Several areas available for events and group gatherings, including outdoor picnic area with pavilions, restrooms and playground. RVs and buses welcome. Free parking.
