North Georgia Mountain Outfitters, is a full-service hiking, camping, and backpacking outfitter, located in East Ellijay, Georgia, offering equipment sales and rental. Owners Gil and Collin Carter have both been hiking in the North Georgia area most of their lives. They offer visitors expert advice regarding area trails and attractions, lead hikes, write articles and give presentations, work closely with local organizations, to promote awareness of the beautiful natural resources the area has to offer.
