Paulk’s Pasture WMA is just inland from Brunswick and near many of the
best coastal sites for birding. It is a timber-managed area with several
smaller sections of good birding, including a wet powerline cut and a
couple of very nice swamps. Key birds: Henslow’s Sparrow, Sedge Wren,
Prothonotary Warbler, Swainson’s Warbler, White-breasted Nuthatch,
Yellow-crowned Night-Heron. This eTrail provides detailed information on
birding strategies for this specific location, the specialty birds and
other key birds you might see, directions to each birding spot, and
helpful general information.
