Located in Memorial Park's hardwood forest, natural habitat exhibits of non-releasable native wildlife are used to teach about wildlife and the environment. Resident animals include three black bears, including 2-year-old siblings Athena and Yonah, bobcats, white-tailed deer, river otters, owls, a bald eagle, and more than 120 species of wild, free-living animals. Free. Open 9 a.m. to sunset daily. The exhibit hall, which features amphibians and reptiles, is open for exploration every Saturday, with projects for young visitors and live animals to see and touch.
