The Beaverdam Wildlife Management Area consists of 12,000 acres in Wilkinson and Laurens counties. It offers the opportunity to experience one of the best stands of mature bottomland hardwood on the entire Oconee River. Native wildlife includes white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, gray squirrels, bobcats, river otters, and non-native coyotes. Hunting, camping, fishing, firearms shooting range, boat ramp, bird watching and field trail access.
