Located in the heart of historic Uptown Columbus, Rivercenter for the Performing Arts is the centerpiece of the city's new arts and entertainment district.

The theatre has hosted a variety of world-renowned performers, including classical artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and Jessie Norman; popular entertainers such as Bill Cosby, Jerry Seinfeld, David Copperfield and Wynonna; international ensembles such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Boys Choir and Cirque Éloize; and national touring productions such as the Broadway shows CHICAGO, RENT and CATS.

RiverCenter's state-of-the-art facilities include the 2,000-seat Bill Heard Theatre, the 430-seat Legacy Hall and the 180-seat Studio Theatre.

    Calling all blues music, beer and barbecue lovers! On Saturday, September 6, 2014, Uptown Columbus, Inc. and RiverCenter hosts the Blues, Brews & Q Festival on the lawn at the RiverCenter. Blues, Brews & Q kicks off at 2 p.m, with live music performed by blues artists from all over the southeast.

    From 3-7 p.m., the first 800 BBQ lovers can taste and vote for their favorite flavor in the People's Choice Cook Off Competition. There is a $10 tasting fee, and only 800 tickets will be sold.... read more
