Downtown Macon tours feature two hours of historic sites that helped shape rhythm and blues, Southern rock, new wave punk and the music business. Walking tours cover two miles in Historic Downtown Macon's residential and commercial district. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and water bottle. Tours start at Washington Park at the corners of College Street and Washington Avenue and finish at the H&H Restaurant where "Mama Louise" still cooks up the soul food made famous by the Allman Brothers.
