Brochures: Downtown Rutledge

Rutledge has been described as "small and special." Surrounded by cotton fields, Rutledge's historic district is only a half-block square and is virtually unchanged since the heyday of the railroad. Tucked away less than three miles from I-20, the city was founded in 1871 and offers visitors quaint shops, dining and outdoor entertainment all within an easy walk of the town park. It was recently listed by Southern Living as a great spot to get off I-20 to grab some yummy eats!
