Savannah is reputed to be ‘America's Most
Haunted City,’ as seen in shows like Scariest
Places on Earth and Ghost Hunters. The Riding Scary Ghost Tour starts at the historic
and haunted Pirate’s House, where unfortunate men were press-ganged into
service starting in the mid-1700s. You’ll learn about the Hampton-Lillibridge
House, where the malevolent spirits that reside within, have, so far, ignored
several exorcisms. You’ll also hear about murder and death at the
Mercer-Williams House, plus many more ghost stories on this 90-minute tour. We’ve
included a stop at the eerie Colonial Park Cemetery, the oldest existing
cemetery in Georgia, where bodies were burned in the Morgue Tunnel during the
yellow fever outbreaks. There’s a good chance a spirit or ghost will appear in
your digital photographs on this tour, so cameras are a must. Be prepared to be
scared.
