The Silver Comet Trail rails-to-trails path connects Atlanta to the Alabama state line, and is accessible from the cities of downtown Rockmart and Cedartown. Bikers, runners, hikers, skaters and horseback riders use the trail for recreation and commuting. The Silver Comet Trail begins at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and the East-West Connector in Smyrna and runs all the way to the Alabama border.
