Skip Barber Racing School

The Skip Barber Racing School utilizes Road Atlanta, an historic, 2.54-mile race track and full-feature automotive training facility in Braselton (about 90 minutes north of Atlanta), as its important mid-south Base Location.

The school's full complement of programs are available to the public at Road Atlanta: Driving Schools (defensive, new driver and high performance), Racing Schools (formula cars and Mazda MX-5 race cars); auto racing championships (open-wheel formula cars and MAZDASPEED Challenge MX-5 Miatas); Corporate and Group Events; and specialty programs for the automotive industry.

Since opening in 1970, Road Atlanta has hosted every famous motorsport championship, from the SCCA Runoffs and the glory years of Trans-Am and IMSA GTP to today’s prestigious ALMS Petite Le Mans
